Storage Wars stars Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz spent years together onscreen, and there used to be a lot of mystery surrounding why they exited the series, but more facts are available now. Brandi and Jarrod split up, but later returned for the first time since 2021. Despite originally exiting, Brandi returned as a member of the Storage Wars season 15 cast.

During its run, Storage Wars was a popular A&E show. The charismatic cast pulled in viewers from all over, including wily villain Dave Hester. Onscreen, buyers tried to outbid one another for units that might earn them a nice profit. Brandi and Jarrod became famous during their stints on the show, even though their relationship was complicated. Their split was extremely messy, and the police even got involved.

In 2014, Brandi and Jarrod were offered the chance at a spin-off series, which inspired them to leave the original Storage Wars cast for part of a season. Their spin-off, Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job, lasted for one installment and followed the couple in their day-to-day lives. It's important to mention that this former duo never legally tied the knot.

This spin-off showed the real lives of the couple and their two children, Payton and Cameron Schulz, who were young at the time. Onscreen, the parents bickered, cracked jokes, and got their hands dirty while working at their thrift store. Unfortunately, the show didn't last, and Brandi and Jarrod headed back to Storage Wars to continue starring in the series.

Brandi and Jarrod left Storage Wars to pursue other opportunities. Things didn't pan out, as the two wound up with only a single spin-off season. However, the fact that they were offered a series of their own, which they produced for one season, is still a feat. Due to the nature of Brandi and Jarrod's relationship, which always featured backhanded compliments and barbs that they aimed at each other, the spin-off may have ended at the right time.

Their Split Impacted Their Reality TV Careers

Brandi and Jarrod had some fun moments on the show during happier days. For example, in the clip above, from Storage Wars season 6, episode 7, Brandi and Jarrod began poking around in a locker - Jarrod found fishing poles and Brandi unearthed a valuable dreidel. An expert said that they'd probably be able to get $1500.00 bucks for the top. Of course, they were elated. Sometimes, they must look back and wonder how everything fell apart. However, their split was so horrible that the chances of reconciliation are extremely slim.

Brandi had a lot to say about her ex after the split. She criticized Jarrod for being a menacing presence in their home. She said she doesn't miss his grouchiness. She called herself the main caregiver - the one who was really there for the kids. Since she posts lovingly about the children now on Instagram, sharing all their special moments, from birthdays to career highlights (Cameron's trying to make a film), she may be right. However, Jarrod hasn't said how often he sees his kids.

On March 17. 2021, things got out of control. Jarrod and Brandi argued and Jarrod ended up getting charged with misdemeanor domestic violence battery, as per EW. On April 30, 2021, Brandi was at a bar. Jarrod showed up, and Brandi asked him to vacate the premises. After he refused, the situation got dramatic. The estranged Storage Wars stars no longer like one another, to put it mildly. Before the cops arrived, Jarrod took off.

Their issues were serious and that's probably why Jarrod never returned to Storage Wars even though Brandi did. At the bar, there was apparently shouting, and things reportedly got physical, with "pushing," as per the publication. Thankfully, Brandi returned for subsequent seasons after she and Jarrod split, but her ex wasn't in the mix. Brandi and Jarrod's split may have ended his chances of appearing on the hit reality series. Producers seemed to side with Brandi although there's no proof of that beyond her casting.

Now, Brandi's got a new boyfriend, Clifford Beaver. He's a bar owner who puts a smile on the once-moody Brandi's face. In fact, she looks fabulous since she's gotten together with him. Brandi has slimmed down and looks super-glam. She loves showing off her beau on Instagram, and she did so on Clifford's birthday in May. She and her boyfriend were both born under the Sun sign, Taurus. They seem to be very in tune.

With Jarrod and Brandi, things were never quite right. They had their moments but sometimes, there was a real disconnect there. Both seemed miserable. Maybe the pressures of raising a family, running a thrift store and appearing on Storage Wars got to them. For whatever reason, their relationship was low on romance, especially towards the end, when Brandi would put him down or roll her eyes. So, this breakup is definitely for the best.

Storage Wars is undeniably an A&E classic. Brandi and Jarrod were exciting to watch. Their dynamic was intriguing, and they were also good at their jobs. Overall, while short-lived, the couple's spin-off show was a great way for them to break away from the original series and strike out on their own. Thankfully, Brandi returned for season 15 after she and Jarrod split.
