I would like to share my impression on studying in TU-Freiberg for a semester. As a student, i really enjoyed the university experience which consisted of vast opportunities to develop myself.There were no limitations to gain knowledge. Student clubs, extracurricular courses and laboratories were astounding. Also I think advanced technology expertise and competency of the engineers make Germany one of the most befitting places for future engineer.

The most of our professors studied, worked in Germany and expertized in their own field. GMIT provides us opportunity to learn from these great professors. Their teaching style and perspective is relatively different. For example, they explain us things differently and you hear terms and vocabulary that you are not accustomed to. There are many things to learn from cultural differences like that and it could benefit when you study further abroad or work with foreign people in the future.

"In my opinion, engineers are committed to ensuring continuous development of personal education and skills, surroundings and environment, as well as technologies currently used in the society. To the extent of the concept, our university allows its students to study and accumulate paralleled knowledge of both culture and technology in Germany where the majority of technological advancements have been invented and processed throughout the history. I have studied at Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (TUBAF) for a winter semester. I strongly believe that I have gained engineering soft skills as well as prepared for the future during that time. Freiberg is known as the first mining university as well as a university campus city in which students are provided with various opportunities. I am so thankful that I got a chance to receive the transnational scholarship from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). I must admire the opportunity of developments in both GMIT and TUBAF when a student has challenged herself/himself enough."

I think I learned more about living independently and becoming self-conscious by studying at the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology. Living in a dormitory allowed me to learn how to spend my day productively, become more self-reliant, and learn skills such as managing my everyday habits and interacting with different kinds of people effectively.While studying in Germany with a DAAD-TNB scholarship from the GMIT, I got acquainted with German culture and contemplated a lot about how I could contribute to the development of Mongolia. I think that it is a great opportunity to study world-class engineering in our home country, and get a diploma recognized in both Germany and the European Union. Later on, I believe It will be a big advantage when I decide to study Master's to further broaden my education in top universities around the world.

It was really good experience to made internship in Oyu tolgoi LLC. I was in Environmental department about 5 months. During the time, I learned lot about my professional field such as monitoring, mitigation and rehabilitation works etc. It was honor to be part of the Mongolian biggest copper and gold mining operation and I gained not only hard skill, but soft skills from experienced and admiring employees.

Our institute goal is to prepare high qualified engineers according to the German standard. Therefore, professional foreign and native Doctors and Professors teach us lecture and seminar by interesting way. There are chemistry, physics and processing laboratories and library which support our knowledge directly. I am very grateful that studying and living with people who has great enthusiasm under the same roof.

The students of our university have the opportunity to organize and take part in various club activities. It is a great way of expanding ones knowledge, developing personal hobbies, and connecting with other students. Since my freshmen year, I have moderated the Movie club and Live Music club with fellow moderators. We have made much progress since our humble beginnings. Through this time, our student council and school faculties have been very supportive towards our club activities as well.
